Spiral wound gaskets are manufactured to ASME B16.20 or applicable customer specifications. Spiral wound gaskets in virtually all metallic winding and filler materials.
We offer a large inventory of spiral wound gaskets from the leading metal gasket manufacturers in the world. Our inventory features a wide range of pipe diameter and flange rating sizes with and without inner rings. We also maintain an inventory of domestic manufactured spiral wound gaskets.
Ring type joint gaskets (RTJ gaskets) are typically manufactured to API 6A (Wellhead Equipment) - 17D (Subsea Ring Joint Gaskets) and ASME B16.20. Available from stock inventory in a variety of materials are styles "R" – "R" Octagonal – "RX" – "BX". Specialized machined gaskets can also be manufactured to the end users specifications. The RTJ gasket is primarily used in high pressure high temperature flange gasket applications. They are precision machined, metallic rings that are designed to fit into a grooved chamber on a flange face.
The Graphonic gasket is a metallic corrugated core with a compressible outer sealing element of various materials. The advantage to this type of gasket is its’ resistance to high temperature, thermal cycling, corrosive environments at a competitive cost. This gasket is API and FITT fire-safe tested and approved.
The Tephonic gasket contain the same core with an expanded Teflon outer in order to seal under less bolt torque load and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees.
